PYTV - Post YouTube Video
PYTV is a Chrome extension developed by momosuke that allows users to easily post YouTube videos to X (formerly Twitter). When sharing a YouTube video, only the video information and thumbnail are typically shared, but not the video itself. However, there are often cases where users want to share the actual video to spread its attractiveness. Previously, users had to download the video and manually upload it to X, but with PYTV, this process is made much simpler.
To use PYTV, simply open the YouTube video page that you want to post, click on the PYTV icon in the extension list, and a pop-up window will appear. Optionally, you can add your own post text, or if left empty, PYTV will use the standard YouTube caption. Afterward, click the "Post Video" button. The first time you use PYTV, you will be redirected to a verification page for posting to X. After authentication, you will be redirected to a callback page confirming the authentication success. From then on, you can post YouTube videos without needing to authenticate again.
Posting a video using PYTV typically takes 1-2 minutes, during which you can close the pop-up window at any time. With PYTV, sharing your favorite YouTube videos has never been easier.
